1996 Chris Ringland “Three Rivers” Shiraz vs 1997 Andraos Bros “Grandfather’s Reserve” Shiraz

On November 20, 2010 there was a “wine-off” between two heavyweights at France Soir Restaurant in Toorak in Melbourne.

The contestants were the 1996 Chris Ringland “Three Rivers” Shiraz valued at over $800 vs the 1997 Andraos Bros Grandfather Reserve Shiraz which sells for $700 USD in the Middle East.

The Sommelier at the time agreed with us that Andraos Bros was the better wine.

His words were “This wine reminds me of the old school wine from the North of Cotes du Rhone. I love it”
