In 2007 Brad, a New York City sommelier, swapped his wine knife for a pair of secateurs and came to work vintage in the inviting warm climate of

McLaren Vale.

In true Aussie tradition, Brad summarily changed his name to ‘Brash’.

 

Today, his wines are highly regarded and sought after worldwide

 

Come to Mediterraneo Charcoal Grill and Wine Bar on April 17 at 7PM to experience the best of the Brash Higgins vintage.

Starter:

Fresh baked bread, briny olives and oil sets — Your perfect palate preparation for the variety of fine wines and mouth-watering courses that await.

 

Entrée:

Salivating from the start! Char grilled semi-smoked pork loin strip served on

roasted parsnip and mushroom ragout. Sweet, savory, satisfying.

Vegetarian: The best of Italy, with vegetable and polenta stack dressed with pinenut and basil pesto

 

2012 Brash Higgins “NDV” Nero d’Avola — “Great purity and potential”, this light, cherry-tinged ruby wine was aged seven months in bees-wax lined clay amphoras.

 

2012 Brash Higgins Grenache/Mataro — Behold, the inviting berry tones of Grenache (70%) and the savoury spice of Mataro (30%). A must try.

 

Main Course: 

 The evening only gets better. Enjoy a perfectly aged Certified Black Angus Porterhouse served on roasted potatoes with a side of red wine beef jus. Every bite, perfection!

Vegetarian: Garden-ripened flavors — Enjoy char grilled seasonal vegetable skewers on mouth-melting mashed potato and mushroom ragout
